Thornberry Animal Sanctuary celebrated their 30th anniversary with Pooches in the Park, a local community dog show, on September 30th 2018.
Local business provided artisan stalls, entertainment and food & drink.
Pet Company joined them at Millhouses Park, sponsoring the Puppy Class of the dog show.
One of our favourite charities, 8 Lives Cat Rescue hosted a stall too, selling their amazing light-up Firefly Bottles!
Dogs competed in categories ranging from best behaved to best dressed. Pet Company's owner, Nicola Ward, judged the first class of the day. It was hard to choose a winner from so many gorgeous pooches.
Dog show winners included Bev Sorsby’s dog Little Tony Danger Sausage, who was named best behaved and best in show; Holly Moore’s pet Alfie, who was named best small dog; Brandon Flynn’s best big dog, Yogi; Pat Rowson’s pet Holly, who was named best lookalike, and best dressed winner Star, owned by Taisha and Shantai Adlington.
Congratulations to Thornberry Animal Sanctuary on their 30th Anniversary and thanks to Helen Connelly for organising such a hugely attended and successful event!
We had an amazing time!
