Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. Our ordering system ensures all details provided by the customer are securely encrypted. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Switch. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. You may send your credit card information via phone, snail mail or over the Internet.

If you select to have your order delivered to an address other than the cardholder address, then for security purposes, we may contact you for additional information, which may possibly delay your order.

If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else outside of the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. Overseas customers will be contacted first to confirm overseas shipping charges, before the order is processed.

While we try and ensure that all prices on our Web site are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled.
Shipping And Handling UK SHIPPING - Items are shipped via Royal Mail First Class Post, Royal Mail Recorded First Class Post, or DPD Next Day Courier Service - a set price of £3.95 is added to cover all P&P costs for the total order. Orders to the Highlands & Islands of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, the Channel Islands and BFPO parcels may be subject to an extra charge, dependant on the weight of the parcel - Customers will be contacted by e-mail first if this is the case and will be asked to confirm if they wish the order to proceed.

OVERSEAS SHIPPING - The P&P will be the actual cost of posting abroad. Overseas orders are shipped via Royal Mail Airmail, Royal Mail International Signed For Delivery, Royal Mail Airsure, or DPD International Courier. Overseas customers will be e-mailed with the cost of shipping charges first and asked to confirm they still require the order to be processed. PAYMENT METHOD FOR OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS - CREDIT CARD ONLY.

OVERSEAS PRODUCT RESTRICTIONS - Due to current government regulations, we regret that most food and treat products cannot be shipped outside of Europe.
Delivery Schedule We will ship your order right away, with many customers receiving their goods the day after ordering! If items are out of stock, your order will be held until it is complete and despatched to you once all items are in stock. Usually we will send your order out to you in 1 - 5 business days, with goods received within 2 - 8 business days from placing your order. International orders are generally received in under 21 days.
Back Orders If there is any problem with an item of stock which may take longer than 2 weeks to arrive into us, we will contact you via e-mail or telephone, to discuss options with you.
Tax Charges All prices shown include VAT where applicable. Countries outside the European Union are VAT exempt, and this will be deducted on receipt of your order to us. We will then notify you by e-mail of the new total cost of your order. V.A.T. is charged on BFPO parcels, but can be claimed back by the individual, from the BFPO base itself.

Guarantee We guarantee your satisfaction. You may for any reason cancel your order, at any time before the goods are despatched, or within 8 working days from receiving the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. All notices of order cancellation, return of goods, or complaints, should be made in the first instance via e-mail to: sales@petcompany.co.uk. Complaints will be responded to quickly and certainly within 5 working days. For items covered by a manufacturer's guarantee, you must fill in the guarantee card and send it to the manufacturers as soon as possible, keeping a note of the manufacturer's contact details for your records.

The only time personal data would be disclosed to a third party, would be if this was necessary to complete your transaction with us. Information given at the time or ordering, or from e-mail/telephone contact, is collected lawfully by Pet Company and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We need to collect this information in order to process the transaction, fulfill your order and provide you with the services you expect. Cookies are used on this shopping site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. Returns Policy Items will be refunded in full, providing they are returned in good condition, with their original packaging and within an 8 day period of you receiving the goods. We cannot accept any responsibility for the goods until they actually arrive back to us, so it is recommended you return the items by Recorded Delivery or another service which insures against loss or damage. The original shipping costs of your order and any postage/shipping costs incurred by you in returning the product to us, are non-refundable. If you wish to exchange a product for a different size, we may, at our discretion, reduce the shipping charge of £3.95 for the despatch of the second item, to a nominal £2.00 charge.
